Writing group for homeless veterans
KNPR, Nevada’s NPR affiliate, invited me into their studio to talk to about the writing groups I’ve been facilitating for homeless veterans since 2016. Some of the original group members, all residents of Veterans Village, joined me to talk about how writing has helped them in their lives, especially as they transitioned from the streets into stable housing.
